OSKALOOSA —
President Barack Obama is expected to make a campaign stop in Oskaloosa next week.
The visit is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14. Few details have been released and, at this time, no location for the event has been announced.
Obama's visit was announced by his presidential campaign by e-mail. It is part of a three-city tour of Iowa, including stops in Marshalltown and Waterloo. It will continue on Wednesday, August 15 with First Lady Michelle Obama joining the president in Dubuque and Davenport.
This is not Obama's first visit to the area as president. He held a town hall meeting in Ottumwa in April 2010.
