PELLA —
Pella’s Boy Scout Troop 373 has received the highest (gold) award in Scouting’s Journey to Excellence performance recognition program. Scoutmaster David Yeager pointed to a number of the Troop’s outstanding programs. These include year-round short-term camping, week-long camping at 700-acre Camp Mitigwa near Woodward, Iowa, and an annual high adventure trip. These high adventures trips include canoe trips to Minnesota’s Boundary Waters, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and hiking the Lake Superior Trail.
